According to the latest data from the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance(EVCIPA), China’s cumulative charging infrastructure reached 11.884 million units by October 2024, marking a 49.4% year-on-year increase and solidifying its position as the world’s largest charging network.
From November 20th to 22nd 2024, the highly anticipated 2024 China Automotive Charging and Swapping Ecosystem Conference was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. Co-organized by EVCIPA and China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) Charging and Swapping Branch, and guided by the National Energy Administration’s Electricity Department and China Automobile Dealers Association, the conference aimed to "Foster New Patterns, Forge a New Future—Building a Smart Energy Supply Service Ecosystem".
The event featured a "1+1+9+1" agenda, addressing key topics such as highway charging infrastructure, global expansion, rural charging rollout, high-power charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration, residential charging, and commercial vehicle battery swapping. Delegates explored innovative strategies to advance high-quality development in the charging industry.
Jicheng Zhitong’s Contributions
As a co-organizer of the conference, Mr. Wang Linxian, General Manager of Jicheng Zhitong, participated in closed-door summits and delivered a keynote speech titled "New Era of Electric Mobility: Technical Pathways and Practices for Global Charging Infrastructure" at the "Business Model Innovation for Global Charging Infrastructure" forum.
In his speech, Mr. Wang analyzed key differences in global charging standards and certifications, emphasized technical requirements for critical metrics, and showcased Jicheng Zhitong’s globally oriented products and R&D strategies. He highlighted that global expansion of charging infrastructure demands standard adaptation, secure communication, and intelligent management, requiring alignment with international markets across product design and operations.
